Your contributions to the Lincoln Diocesan Council of Catholic Women (LDCCW) make a difference in the lives of individuals and families throughout our diocese and beyond.

Through our charitable giving, outreach programs, scholarships, and prayer initiatives, LDCCW supports those in need, strengthens families, encourages vocations, and shares Christ’s love with our communities and the world.

Children: From Conception Through Adulthood

LDCCW supports children at every stage of life through programs that protect, nurture, educate, and strengthen them.

• Pregnancy Support: Financial assistance to Pregnancy Help Centers throughout the Lincoln Diocese through Apostles for Life and annual budgeted contributions.

• Annual Diaper Drive: Providing diapers to families experiencing financial hardship.

• Baptismal Packets: Welcoming newly baptized children with a Parent Educator Book, Holy Family prayer card, and a medal blessed by Bishop Conley.

• Msgr. Riordan Scholarship: Annual scholarship support for students at Villa Marie Home and School in Waverly.

• Camp Kateri Tekakwitha: Supporting Catholic summer camp opportunities that help young people grow in faith.

Young Adults & Families

We invest in the spiritual and practical well-being of individuals and families, offering support during important life transitions and times of need.

• Marriage Preparation: Financial assistance for engaged couples participating in the FOCCUS premarital assessment.

• Catholic Social Services: Assistance to families in need of essential necessities.

• St. Gianna Program: Support for women and children experiencing domestic abuse.

• Prison Reentry Apostolate: Supporting incarcerated men and women as they transition back into society.

• Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreat House: Support for retreatants seeking spiritual renewal and a deeper relationship with Christ.

Priests & Religious in Our Diocese

LDCCW recognizes the importance of supporting those who dedicate their lives to serving the Church. Through financial contributions and prayer, we help encourage and sustain religious vocations.

• Our Lady of Good Counsel Burse: Annual contributions of $0.52 per woman in each parish toward the education and formation of our seminarians.

• Adopt-a-Priest Program: Connecting individual women with priests through prayer, cards, and words of encouragement.

• Support for Religious Sisters: Annual contributions of $0.52 per woman in each parish. Funds are distributed to religious communities to assist with the financial needs of incoming postulants and educational expenses.

• Prayers for Vocations: Praying for an increase in vocations and for the spiritual well-being of all priests and religious.

Outreach Beyond Our Diocese

Our commitment to living out our Catholic faith extends beyond our local communities and reaches people throughout the world.

• Spirit Catholic Radio: Supporting Catholic evangelization and faith formation through Catholic media.

• Eyeglasses & Rosary Collection: Collecting and distributing used eyeglasses and rosaries to individuals throughout the world.

• Catholic Relief Services – Box of Joy: Participating in the Box of Joy program to bring gifts and hope to children in need.

• NCCW Works of Peace: Supporting initiatives that promote peace, compassion, and service to others.
