EMBRACE YOUR CALL TO HOLINESS
The Eau Claire Deanery Council of Catholic Women would like to thank ALL of the ladies who attended the 2025 Embrace Your Call to Holiness retreat. We had a great turn out and the event was a great success due to all those who attended. We appreciate the continued support from the La Crosse DCCW. They have been a big part toward this event being a success.
The St James the Greater PCCW deserves a BIG SHOUT OUT for all the months of planning and work needed to bring this event to life. Thank you to the speakers, Marge Fenelon and Christine Warloski for their contribution to this event. Also a big round of applause for Beth Mahoney, NCCW President, who attended as our Emcee. We appreciated her attendance at the event.
The Eau Claire DCCW appreciates all the contributions and hard work that helped to make this event happen.

Let’s put some W.I.N.E. (Women in the New Evangelization) into our Lenten Celebration
St Joseph the Workman Cathedral in La Crosse
8 a.m. Mass; Light Breakfast to follow
9 a.m to 12 noon. It is free, and open to all Catholic Women.
Kelly Wahlquist is a dynamic and inspiring Catholic speaker whose gift of weaving personal stories and Scripture together with practical advice allows her audience to enter more fully into what Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict have called us into - to be witnesses of our faith and part of the New Evangelization. Kelly travels the country speaking to all on various topics that inspire us to live the New Evangelization, but has a special love for speaking at Catholic women’s conferences. She resides in Minnesota with her husband, Andy, and their three children, and is very active in their parish, Holy Name of Jesus.

停用 Cookie Eye Glass Cases STILL Needed for Casa Hogar Optical Mission

We NEED your help! The Casa Hogar Optical Mission's next trip is soon and we never have enough cases and the ones you make are wonderful. We do need to ask the ladies to only use rectangle potholders as the curved ones are difficult to slide the glasses into and many times end up being too small. You can send the cases to the mission office with any priest going into the diocesan center and the diocesan center will pack them in the boxes to be sent to the mission. They pack things as they come in so bring them in any time! They also collect used glasses, reading glasses and sunglasses both prescription and non-prescription. All cases new and used and anything else pertaining to eye-wear, always in need of lens wipes and lens cloths.
Thank you so much for you help and know that it is very much appreciated, I also do presentations about our mission if you are ever in need of a speaker.
Blessings to you all,
Cindy Sjolander

Prayer to our Lady of Good Counsel
God of heavenly wisdom, you have given us Mary, Mother of Jesus, to be our guide and counselor. Grant that we may always seek her motherly help in this life and so enjoy her blessed presence in the life to come.
O Mother of Good Counsel, patroness of the National Council of Catholic Women, intercede for us that we may be wise, courageous, and loving leaders of the Church. Help us, dear mother, to know the mind of Jesus, your son. May the Holy Spirit fill us with reverence for God's creation, and compassion for all God's children. May our labors of love on earth enhance the reign of God and may God's gift of faith and living hope prepare us for the fullness of the world to come. AMEN
